Exam slides

Here it is possible to download virtual slides for the practical part of the pathology exam. These slides have been chosen from 80 selected cases discussed during microscopical practical classes. The slides can be downloaded as SVS files, which assure detailed images of the histological sections in high quality even in an offline mode (the size of the slides altogether is 32,8 GB). We hope these virtual slides are going to make your studies easier and help you to prepare for the practical part of the pathology exam.

To open the SVS file, there is a need to download Sedeen Viewer first. This tool can be downloaded from the website pathcore.com for free. After clicking a link to download the software, you have to fill out a short registration form. Doing so, you will be given a link via mail from which the viewer can be downloaded (CAVE - the link may be recognized as spam). The last step is to install the software and then you will be able to view the slides.

Aperio Imagescope represents an alternate option and can be found on the website Leica biosystems. Again - after clicking a link to download software, you have to fill out a short registration form, which is immediately followed by downloading of the installation file.
